The Customized 90-Minute Facial is an extensive treatment using mainly Decleor products and aims at tackling several complexion concerns simultaneously. The ritual begins with an exfoliating gommage made with ground coconut shells and orange peel powder to loosen the blackheads which are then expertly extracted with a virtually pain free technique. This is followed by a purifying serum and a delightfully aromatherapeutic ylang ylang balm to purify the skin which is finally sealed into the skin with a cooling peppermint and clove mask. As your face extracts the benefits of these potent products and your eyes are refreshed with eye patches, the therapist treats you to a shoulder and arm massage that completely transports you to a dreamy abode. The final step is a nourishing serum and 24-hour moisturizer that will prep you for any plans you might have to keep after the treatment.
What we really appreciated in addition to the treatment was that aesthetician Meriam was so forthcoming with lots of home care tips for taking care of your skin. From do-it-yourself masks to kitchen panty ingredients that pack a punch for complexion care, the session was both rejuvenating and considerably educative. Highly recommended!
